OIL CONTROL SOAP

I have oily skin and honestly I had just accepted it. Wash my face, give it an hour, shiny again. I kept blotting sheets in my bag like it was normal. My sister told me to try this charcoal soap and I said okay fine just to stop the conversation. I don't know when exactly it changed but one afternoon I realised I hadn't touched my blotting sheets all day. Not once. My face was just — normal. Not greasy, not shiny. I stood in front of the mirror for a bit just looking. Sounds dramatic but that was a big deal for me. Still using it. Not stopping.

My face was oily every single day. I thought that was just how my skin is. Used this for a few weeks and my skin is just not doing that anymore. I genuinely don't understand what changed but something did. My husband noticed before I said anything.

I bought this thinking let's just try. My skin gets oily really fast and I had low expectations. Two weeks later I stopped carrying extra tissue for my face. That alone tells you everything. Good soap, will keep buying.

Okay so the oil control actually works, I will give it that. My face stays much better through the day. But I expected a charcoal soap to lather well — this one really doesn't. The foam is quite less. First few uses I kept thinking something was wrong. You get used to it but it still bothers me a little. Results are there so I keep buying. Just expected more foam.
